How to Burn Data Disc
Step 1. Activate Data DVD/CD BurnerFirst, you need to insert a writable CD/DVD to your disc drive and then launch Free Disc Burner. Then, click "Data" and choose "Data CD"/"Data CD" to activate data DVD/CD burner.
Step 2. Select Burning DeviceChoose one of the burning devices from the list. When new devices have been plugged in or you change the disc in the drive, click "Refresh" to update the device list.
Step 3. Choose File System Type
There are two file system types: ISO-9660 and ISO-9660 + Joliet UNICODE name extension, choose one of them to save the data. Check "Create bootable disc" and choose the image files to create bootable disc if needed.
Step 4. Add Files or Folders
Click "Add File(s)..." or "Add Dir..." to input files or folders for your data DVD/CD burning. To create new folder, click "New Dir..." or to rename any folder, choose "Rename...".
Step 5. Select Burning Mode & Speed and Start Burning
Choose one burning mode from the dropdown menu of "Burning Mode". The Test mode can be used to activate burning for checking errors. You can also adjust the burning speed if needed. Now, click "Next" to start CD burning and a progress bar will show you the status of burning.
